Alkylphenol-formaldehyde resin. Acts as a crosslinking agent. Available in form of pale yellowish flake. It is superior to sulfur & quinone dioxide crosslinking, particularly in heat-resistance. Used as crosslinking promoter in halogen compounds like tin (II) chloride & chloroprene rubber. Suitable for butyl rubber (IIR) and TPV.
