2-(3',5'-di-t-butyl-2'-hydroxyphenyl)–5-chlorobenzotriazole. Acts as ultraviolet light absorber and light stabilizer. It has excellent stability to heat and light. It has low volatility, good color, superior wash fastness, and resistance to gas fading, which make it particularly useful for stabilizing ABS, polyester, styrenics, urethanes. Has applications in adhesives.
