Fine particle size, high surface area, air float kaolin clay. Acts as an excellent functional filler and rheology modifier. Exhibits low oil absorption. Provides whiteness and ensures good void filling in the substrate, thereby increasing adhesive strength. It has a platy structure and good aspect ratio which helps improve heat deflection (HDT) and abrasion resistance. It is a cost effective alternative to CaCO3 and talc that provides improved physical and optical properties. Aids in the dispersion of the other ingredients by providing the correct amount of shear during mixing. Designed for water-based and solvent-based adhesives, sealants and caulks.
