Pentaerythritol ester of gum rosin. Acts as a tackifier. It is formed by esterifying rosin with pentaerythritol. Compatible with many high polymers, including NR, CR, SBR, SIS, and EVA, etc. Offers strong adhesive power, low odor and good heat resistance. Also has good intermiscibility with polymer and good inoxidability as well as heat stability. Used to make emulsion adhesives, EVA hot melt glue sticks, bookbinding glue and pressure-sensitive adhesives.
