Mergal® KM80

Mergal® KM80 by Troy Corporation (Arxada) is an in-can preservative, bactericide and fungicide in alkaline aqueous systems such as dextrine, casein and dispersion adhesives. It is chloromethyl and methylisothiazolinone-free, heavy metals-free, blend of 4-chloro-3-methylphenol sodium salt and 1,2-benzoisothiazolin-3-one sodium salt. It offers a broad action spectrum against bacteria, yeasts and mushrooms. It is compatible with aqueous polymer emulsions such as pure acrylic, styrene acrylic, polyvinyl acetate and copolymers, polyvinyl alcohol, vinyl acetate-ethylene pressure polymers, casein, starch and starch derivatives. Mergal® KM80 has a usage level of 0.05-0.3%.
