Mergal® KMON

Mergal® KMON by Troy Corporation (Arxada) is an in-can preservative, bactericide and fungicide in alkaline aqueous systems such as dextrine, casein and dispersion adhesives. It is isothiazolinone-, formaldehyde- and heavy metals-free, o-phenylphenol sodium salt. It provides a broad action spectrum against bacteria, yeasts and mold fungus. Mergal® KMON shows compatibility with aqueous polymer emulsions such as pure acrylic, styrene acrylic, polyvinyl acetate and copolymers, polyvinyl alcohol, vinyl acetate-ethylene pressure polymers, casein, starch and starch derivatives. It has a recommended usage level of 0.1-0.40%.
