Mergal® S88

Mergal® S88 by Troy Corporation (Arxada) is a dry film preservative, fungicide, algaecide and bactericide. It is suitable for water-based adhesives. It is a combination of methyl-benzimidazol-2-ylcarbamate and zinc-bis-(dimethyldithiocarbamate). It offers balanced, broad action spectrum against bacteria, yeasts, mushrooms and algae. It offers compatibility with aqueous polymer emulsions such as pure acrylic, styrene acrylic, polyvinyl acetate and copolymers, polyvinyl alcohol, vinyl acetate-ethylene pressure polymers, polymer emulsion-silicate combinations and silicates systems. Mergal® S88 has a usage level of 0.5-2%.
