Mergal® S89

Mergal® S89 by Troy Corporation (Arxada) is a dry film preservative, fungicide and algaecide for outside applications in aqueous systems such as sealants. It is a combination of methyl-benzimidazol-2-ylcarbamate and 2-n-octylisothiazolinone. This grade offers balanced, broad action spectrum against mushrooms and algae. It shows compatibility with aqueous polymer emulsions such as pure acrylic, styrene acrylic, polyvinyl acetate and copolymers, polyvinyl alcohol and vinyl acetate-ethylene pressure polymers. Recommended dosage level of Mergal® S89 is 0.2-2%.
