Troykyd® FCD 734 by Troy Corporation (Arxada) is applicable as a degassing and a defoaming agent in water-based adhesives. It is a dispersion of hydrophobic silica. It offers compatibility with water reducible resins, pure acrylic, styrene acrylic, polyvinyl acetate and copolymers and vinyl acetate-ethylene pressure polymers. Troykyd® FCD 734 has a recommended dosage of 0.10-0.60%.
