GENIOSIL® XL 926

GENIOSIL® XL 926 by Wacker is an organofunctional N-cyclohexylaminomethyltriethoxysilane. It functions as a crosslinker, water scavenger and adhesion promoter. It binds via its aminomethyl group to electrophilic groups in resins and polymers. Aside from groups such as epoxides and esters, it is particularly compatible with the isocyanate groups present in polyurethanes. GENIOSIL® XL 926 is used in silane-crosslinking construction adhesives and joint sealants.
