Alkylphenol disulphide. Acts as a vulcanizing agent. It has excellent heat resistance and high tensile strength. It shows tackifying and oxidation resisting effects. It can substitute sulfur or DTDM in semi-effective or effective vulcanization system and does not generate N-nitrosamine gas during sulfidation process. It is compatible with natural rubber, chlorinated butyl rubber, brominated butyl rubber, butyl rubber and other rubbers. Used in inner glues. The recommended dosage is 0.5-5 parts.
