DESMOPHEN® 84WB83 by Covestro is a polyol. Can also be used as a modifying component in polyester polyurethane formulations (e.g. to improve elongation at break). 10 pbw DESMOPHEN® 84WB83 are generally added per 100 pbw polyester polyol in polyester polyurethane formulations. Its shelf life (ex works) is 12 months if stored in sealed, moisture-tight containers. Recommended storage temperature is 10-35 °C and processing temperature is 20-25°C.
