BMI -4500

BMI -4500 by Designer Molecules is a medium molecular weight, maleimide terminated polyamide-imide oligomer. Exhibits low melting point, good film properties, good thermal stability and good adhesion to a variety of substrates. It is hydrophobic in nature and is easily soluble in aromatic solvents such as toluene, ether solvents such as THF and cyclic ketones such as cyclopentanone or cyclohexanone. Highly compatible with a variety of acrylate or methacrylate diluents. When used as a base resin, it can produce films that are tough, flexible and demonstrate good peel strength. BMI -4500 is recommended for use in film adhesives, pre-applied adhesives and for adhesion to metals.
