VELVETOL® H2000 by WeylChem International is a 100% bio-based PO3G (polyether polyol) made with 1,3-propanediol (Bio-PDO). Exhibits hydrolysis resistance, high oxidative stability, low melting point, low viscosity and slow crystallization rates. It is easy to handle, process & transport and has a significantly lower environmental footprint, saving 40% in nonrenewable energy consumption and reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 42% as proofed by an ISO 14000-compliant life cycle analysis. It possesses low toxicity, low volatility, biodegradability and high thermal heat capacity. It shows more resistance against acid and heat compared to PTMEG. VELVETOL® H2000 offers long durability in end use applications.
