SP-134 Resin

SP-134 Resin (Old name: Akrochem® P-28) by Akrochem is a modified alkylphenol-formaldehyde resin-based tackifier. It is designed for polychloroprene contact cement that requires long open time. It reacts with an active magnesium oxide such as Elastomag® 170 in solvent solution forming a salt which greatly increases the heat resistance of the adhesives. It is also used in formulating adhesive with NBR, SBR, natural- and reclaimed rubber. It shows compatibility with NBR and CR.
