Natrosol™ 250 MHR by Ashland is a water soluble hydroxyethylcellulose. It acts as a non-ionic thickener, water retention aid and rheology modifier.

It displays compatibility with other materials such as emulsion polymers, natural & synthetic gums, emulsifiers and defoamers.
Offers very good flow properties and is treated to delay hydration of the particles.
It performs in the emulsion and suspension polymerization of many vinyl polymers.
Natrosol™ 250 MHR is used in water-based tile, wallpaper, latex and plywood adhesives.
