DESMODUR® DA-L

DESMODUR® DA-L by Covestro is hydrophilic aliphatic polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate. It can be used as a crosslinking agent for largely pH-neutral aqueous polymer dispersions, such as polyurethane, polyvinylacetate, polyacrylate and synthetic rubber dispersions.Is a solvent-free liquid polyisocyanate, emulsifiable in aqueous polymer dispersions. Crosslinking raises the resistance of the bonds to heat, water, plasticizers and numerous solvents. An addition of 3-10 % by weight DESMODUR® DA-L is recommended for crosslinking 100 pbw of an adhesive dispersion with a polymer content of 40-60% by weight. Recommended storage temperature is 0-30 °C.
