DESMOPHEN® 1652 by Covestro is linear hydroxyl bearing polyester. Used in combination with Desmodur VL to formulate flexible solvent free sealers. It can be thinned with esters and ketones such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, methyl ethyl ketone, methylisobutyl ketone, 1-methoxypropylacetate-2, cyclohexanone and acetone. The shelf life of DESMOPHEN® 1652 is 6 months.
