DESMODUR® QUIX 175

DESMODUR® QUIX 175 by Covestro is an araliphatic polyisocyanate. In combination with various Desmophen®, Baycoll®, Desmocoll® grades or other hydroxyl-bearing substances to formulate two-component polyurethane adhesives. Has good compatibility with esters such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate and 1-methoxypropylacetate-2 and aromatic hydrocarbons such as xylene and Solvesso 100. The use of this polyisocyanate increases the resistance of the bonds to heat, oil, plasticizers and many solvents. Markets applications include food and pharmaceutical packaging industry. The shelf life of DESMODUR® QUIX 175 is a period of 6 months and recommended storage temperature is 0-30 °C.
