DISPERCOLL® U 54

DISPERCOLL® U 54 by Covestro is an anionic, high molecular weight polyurethane dispersion. It is a raw material for the formulation of thermally active adhesives for furniture, automotive, shoe and construction industries. Also suitable for water-borne, fast bonding, moisture and heat resistant adhesives. Exhibits outstanding bonding properties on most synthetic and natural materials. The thermal stability and resistance to plasticizers, grease and oil can be increased by the addition of 2-5 % by weight of a water-emulsifiable polyisocyanate from the Desmodur® range. The crosslinker is added just before application of the adhesive and mixed thoroughly. The shelf life of DISPERCOLL® U 54 is 6 months.
