DISPERCOLL® U XP 2643

DISPERCOLL® U XP 2643 by Covestro is an aqueous polyurethane dispersion. Used for the formulation of adhesives for use in, for example, the packing, automotive, footwear and construction industries. Has outstanding bonding properties on most synthetic and natural materials. Because of the characteristic polymer properties ,DISPERCOLL® U XP 2643 is suitable for bondings at room temperature and applications at low heat activation temperatures. The thermal stability and resistance to plasticizers, grease and oil can be increased by the addition of 2 - 5 % by weight of a water-emulsifiable polyisocyanate from the Desmodur®range. The crosslinker is added just before application of the adhesive and mixed thoroughly. The shelf life of DISPERCOLL® U XP 2643 is 6 months and recommended storage temperature is 10-23°C.
