Ricon® 150D

Low molecular weight 1, 2 polybutadiene resin dispersed on synthetic calcium silicate. It is a type II coagent with high vinyl functionality affecting the state of cure but not the rate of cure in peroxide-cure systems. Compatible with saturated and unsaturated elastomers especially olefinic-based elastomers and thermoplastic elastomers. Has polymeric structure, high reactivity, electrical insulation properties, excellent crosslink density, excellent hydrophobicity, low molecular weight. Improves processability, heat resistance, chemical resistance, elongation, ozone resistance and also dispersion of fillers as well as fibers within the formulation. Used in pressure sensitive adhesives.
