HYPALON® 40

HYPALON® 40 by Dow is a stable chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber. It is used in adhesives and sealants for automotive applications. It provides very good chemical and weathering resistance, electrical insulation & good low temperature properties, very good heat-aging and heat resistance upto 150°C. It offers good flame retardancy, very good abrasion resistance, good compression set and good tear strength. It shows permanent bright colors and has no discoloration on exposure to light. HYPALON® 40 exhibits very good mechanical properties on compounding.
