Bynel™ 4208

Bynel™ 4208 by Dow is anhydride-modified low-density polyethylene resin. Its physical properties are typical of low-density polyethylene resins with similar density and melt index values. It is designed to provide high interlayer adhesion between: EVOH, polyamide, PE, ethylene copolymers and ionomers. It can be used in conventional extrusion and coextrusion equipment designed to process polyethylene (PE) resins. Used in barrier bag-in-box films, large pouches for hospital, restaurant or institutional uses rigid containers in which PE is the structural component. Bynel™ 4208 is suitable for food contact applications according to FDA.
