Surlyn™ 1650

Surlyn™ 1650 by Dow is an ionomer of ethylene acid copolymer. Used as a seal layer in flexible packaging. It can be processed by conventional blown film, cast film, sheet extrusion and co-extrusion. Possesses very good hot tack strength, low sealing temperatures and wide sealing temperature range. Surlyn™ 1650 offers benefits such as formability, clarity, oil & grease resistance.
