Surlyn™ 1707 by Dow is ethylene acid copolymer resin in which the acid groups are partially neutralized with sodium ions. Used in extrusion and laminating adhesives and sealants. Provides outstanding melt strength, toughness, clarity, outstanding heat seal, high hot tack strength, seal through contamination properties, low temperature sealing, drawability, abrasion and oil resistance. Surlyn™ 1707 possesses high modulus and gloss.
