Butvar® B-98 is a thermoplastic polyvinyl butyral (PVB) resin by Eastman. Provides the highest shear strength and high peel strength at very low temperatures. Imparts excellent binding efficiency, adhesion, toughness and flexibility. Offers excellent dielectric properties and exceptionally good creep resistance. It can be crosslinked with thermoset systems. Butvar® B-98 is used in binders and structural adhesives.
