POLYVEST® HT by Evonik is an apolar, hydrophobic, stereospecific, hydroxyl-terminated liquid polybutadiene grade. It has low viscosity and high concentration of double bonds.

It is an unsaturated polymer backbone with terminal hydroxyl functionalities.
It is a highly reactive binder and provides versatile opportunities for precise chemical modifications and reactions.
Exhibits high chemical resistance towards acids & bases, excellent water resistance and high cold resistance by keeping good flexibility at low temperatures.
It possesses excellent electrical insulation properties, low moisture & gas permeability and good adhesion to various substrates.
Recommended for adhesive & sealant compositions, electrical insulations and potting compounds.
Used as insulated glass sealants, waterproofing membranes, gap fillers and expansion joints.
POLYVEST® HT has a shelf life of 1 year.
