Araldite® ECN 1299 by Huntsman is an epoxy cresol novolac resin with a functionality of 5.4. Araldite® ECN 1299 is derived from an ortho cresol-formaldehyde novolac which is then reacted with epichlorohydrin to form a polyepoxide. It is an aero grade. Recommended in applications where improved thermal properties and high resistance to solvents and chemicals are desired.
