Jeffamine® D-4000 Amine

Jeffamine® D-4000 Amine by Huntsman is polyetheramine. It is characterized by repeating oxypropylene units in the backbone. It is a difunctional and primary amine with average molecular weight of about 4000. The primary amine groups are located on secondary carbon atoms at the end of the aliphatic polyether chains. Its benefits include relatively low viscosity, color and vapor pressure, improved flexibility from high molecular weight polyether backbone and increase peel strength. Jeffamine® D-4000 Amine is used in adhesives. It is listed in TSCA, DSL, AICS, ECL and IECSC.
