Carbotac™ 2990

Carbotac™ 2990 by Lubrizol is carboxylated- and formaldehyde-free acrylic emulsion. Provides varying degrees of tack, cohesion, reliable bond, peel strengths and adhesion to polyolefin as well as metal substrates. Its optical clarity and water resistance allow for the ability to see through the film for quality inspection. Offers many features including a wide range of adhesive properties, excellent runnability at high as well as low speeds, solvent or plasticizer resistance, consistent performance and ease of compoundability. Carbotac™ 2990 is used in pressure sensitive adhesive, maskants, tapes, food packaging, heat seal and wet or dry lamination.
