Pearlstick™ 45-90/12

Pearlstick™ 45-90/12 by Lubrizol is an elastic, linear, aromatic polycaprolactone copolyester based TPU with a small amount of anti-adherent in the formulation. It has low crystallization rate, low thermoplasticity level and exhibits good hydrolysis resistance. Pearlstick™ 45-90/12 allows the production of solvent-based adhesives with a very long open-time, which can be used as one- or two-component adhesives. The addition of a polyfunctional isocyanate to improves the heat-resistance and the strength of the joints. Its addition to other different types of Pearlstick™ increases their open-times. Recommended for primers and footwear industry.
