EPI-REZ™ Resin 5520-W-60

EPI-REZ™ Resin 5520-W-60 by Westlake Epoxy is a mechanically stable, non-ionic, aqueous dispersion of urethane modified epoxy resin. It is supplied at a nominal 60% non-volatiles. It offers moderate viscosity and wide latitude for viscosity reduction. It is completely water reducible and free from organic solvents. It is incorporated in formulations that are traditionally water-based and require good strength and outstanding chemical- and water resistance. It can be cured through both epoxy functionality and hydroxyl functionality. In comparison to standard epoxy resins, it exhibits improved chemical resistance and thermal properties. It is used in film adhesives. EPI-REZ™ Resin 5520-W-60 has a shelf life of 1 year.
