PLEXTOL™ D 171

PLEXTOL™ D 171 is an aqueous emulsion of a thermoplastic acrylic polymer by Synthomer. It is preserved against bacterial and fungal attack. It offers instant-adhesiveness and extremely high peeling values particularly in high layer thicknesses. It is crosslinkable due to the presence of functionalized comonomers. It is particularly suitable for critical substrates like (PE) in outside applications. PLEXTOL™ D 171 exhibits good resistance against aging and water. It is recommended for pressure-sensitive adhesives such as one-and double-sided tapes for construction, industrial, packages and automotive applications. The shelf life of the product is 12 months.
