VINNAPAS® RI 551 Z

Solvent-free, plasticizer-free, film-forming aid-free, water redispersible ethylene/vinyl laurate/vinyl chloride terpolymer powder. Used in conjunction with inorganic binders such as cement, hydrated lime, waterglass or gypsum to make tile and construction adhesives, adhesives for external insulation and finishing systems, sealing slurries and putties, and as a sole binder for adhesives. Enhances adhesion, flexural strength, plasticity, abrasion resistance and workability. Provides hydrophobic, ie, very good water-repellent properties. Contains a fine mineral filler as antiblocking agent and polyvinyl alcohol as stabilizer. Offers low glass transition temperature.
