Waterborne Adhesives appeared in the first half of last century. Since then, technical improvement and expansion into a lot of applications have made of this technology the largest one used in the world, in terms of volume. Of the 11.8 Millions Tonnes of Adhesives and Sealants produced in the world each year, there is close to 5 Millions Tonnes of Waterborne Adhesives (wet formulated products).
