Cardolite offers bio-based polyols with a broad range of properties. CNSL based polyols in the NX-9001 family are recommended for improving water and chemical resistance while NX-9005, NX-9007, and NX-9011 are suitable for applications requiring high strength and flexibility at low temperature.
NX-9008 is designed to offer epoxy-like performances with very high mechanical strength, high Tg and bond strength as desired in structural adhesives.
Low viscosity and color stability coupled with excellent bond strength can be achieved by incorporating polyol NX-9014 in the polyurethane system.
Detailed test results with comparison to commercial benchmark, i.e. Sovermol 750, are included in this technical presentation. Polyurethane adhesives and sealants with high bio-content and high performance can be attained by utilizing Cardolite polyol technology.
