Long-used chemicals are being subjected to toxicity testing under the European Union’s REACH regulation and other regulatory schemes. Chemicals are also frequently facing toxicity classifications that can cause deselection of products in applications and consumer markets. Eastman has faced this challenge head-on as both a supplier/manufacturer and customer. This webinar will provide an overview of the REACH regulation and the testing that is reshaping the supply chain from raw materials up. GHS classifications will be discussed as well for an understanding of why REACH testing is affecting products globally.
