Acrylic adhesives are derived from acrylic acid, methacrylic acid or other related compounds. Acrylic adhesives are available either as one or two part adhesives or as versions that are cured by exposure to ultraviolet light. Acrylic adhesives produce bonds with excellent peel strengths. Acrylic adhesives are of moderate costs and show the particularity to have good adhesion to many substrates (glass, metals, paper, textiles, metallic foils, and plastics).
