Solvent Borne Adhesives Channel
Solvent based adhesives are a mixture of ingredients (typically polymers) dissolved in a solvent (heptane, toluene, n-butyl acetate, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, naphtha, mineral spirits and methylene chloride). Main types: Solvent borne Pressure Sensitive Adhesives (based on styrenic block copolymers, natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber & acrylic polymers), Solvent borne Non-Pressure sensitive Adhesives (based on SBR or butyl rubber) and Solvent borne Contact Adhesives (based on polychloroprene rubber).
