Resulting Properties
Metallocene Catalyzed Polyolefin HMA for Heat Sealing Applications (B) is used to laminate multilayer films. It is suitable in particular for flexible films of polyethylene or polypropylene. The film is suitable for producing packaging and in particular resealable packaging in the food processing industry.
On opening the packaging, the multilayer film is destroyed at the seal point between the film layers and a free layer of permanently tacky pressure sensitive adhesive arises at the container edge. This may be reversibly resealed with the lidding film.
