Applicable Base Polymer Properties

Metallocene catalysts have been developed to produce polyolefins with precisely tailored properties. The attributes of metallocene catalyzed polyolefin (mPO) in hot melt adhesives are summarized below.

Resulting Properties

This particular HMA formulation will produce a waterwhite HMA with high cohesive strength and short set time. The formulation provides short open and set times. It also provides excellent hot tack.
