Ameya Acquires Polyurethane Sealant Business from Chemetall

Ameya Group, based at Vadodara, India has acquired polyurethane sealant business from Chemetall-Rai India limited. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Chemetall-Rai intends to concentrate on their core business while Ameya expects to get the client base of Chemetall.

Ameya's current construction speciality materials segment has structural glazing Sealants, core drilling technology, anchors and fasteners, & water proofing products etc.The acquisition will enable Ameya to enter the airport and defence space as polyurethane sealants are used exclusively for airfield runway maintenance. The company intends to grow by more acquisitions and expects to have good financial gains in the coming financial year.
