Arizona Chemical expands rosin resin capacity

Published on 2003-06-25. Author : SpecialChem

Arizona Chemical has expanded its capacity to produce dimerized rosin resins at its Port St. Joe, Fla., facility.

The plant enhancements coincide with the re-introduction of SYLVAROS PR 140, a high softening point, high-dimer rosin content resin. The company has resumed production of this product to serve the needs of adhesive, ink, coating, and specialty chemical customers globally.

Modified and dimerized rosins commercially available from Arizona Chemical range in softening point from 75 to 140, and in acid number from 130 to 160.
