Azelis Opens New CASE Laboratory in TurkeyAzelis opens a new CASE (coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers) laboratory in Istanbul, Turkey. The new lab enables Azelis to accelerate the roll-out of innovative CASE formulations and technical support to its customers in the region.

Highlights & Rationale of the New Laboratory


  • The key focus of the lab will be coatings including paints and varnishes, in industrial, decorative, marine, can and coil, wood coatings and other markets
  • This application lab complements Azelis’ CASE labs in Germany, Asia-Pacific and Americas, including our recently-opened lab in Mexico City
  • The new application laboratory underscores Azelis’ strategy to be an innovation service provider to all sectors and all regions

We are thrilled to open the new CASE laboratory in Istanbul. In addition to round-the-clock formulation, the lab will be utilized as both a teaching and learning facility. We will work closely together with principals, customers, and our CASE team to bring new, innovative formulations to the market,” said Stefan Hagenberg, Azelis senior technical development manager, CASE-EMEA.
