BASF announces portfolio of pure MDIs

WYANDOTTE, MI -- BASF Polyurethanes North America announced the introduction of an enhanced product portfolio of pure 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanates, tailor-made to suit specific applications. The product line includes Lupranate M, Lupranate MS, Lupranate MTD, Lupranate MT, Lupranate 265 and Lupranate LP27.

The breadth and versatility of BASF's pure MDI portfolio provides customers with customization opportunities for variant degrees of color control and additives. Applications for these pure MDI products include thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU), Spandex and various elastomers.

BASF's pure MDI products can be manufactured to meet specific customer or market segment requirements, such as color and isomer specifications.
