BASF announces price increase on Styropor® Expandable polystyren

FLORHAM PARK, NJ --- BASF announced it would increase prices for all grades of Styropor® Expandable polystyrene by $0.05 per pound effective June 1, 2009 or as contracts permit. This increase is in addition to the previously announced increase that was effective in May 2009.

This increase is necessary due to raw material cost increases.
