BASF increases prices for Butonal and Butofan styrene-butadiene high and medium solids latex products in the United States and Canada

Published on 2009-09-10. Author : SpecialChem

CHARLOTTE, NC -- BASF is increasing its prices by up to $US 0.09 per wet pound in the United States and Canada on all BUTONAL® and BUTOFAN® styrene-butadiene high and medium solids latex products used in the adhesives, carpet, construction, fiber bonding, automotive and foam markets.

This action is necessary as a result of increases in the costs of raw materials, in particular styrene and butadiene, which have impacted BASF's business.

BUTONAL and BUTOFAN are registered trademarks of BASF SE.
