BASF to increase prices for styrene-butadiene high-solids latex products in U.S., Canada

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Effective immediately, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase prices on all Butonal® high solids latex products and Butofan® medium solids latex products supplied to the adhesive, asphalt carpet, construction, automotive and foam industries in the United States and Canada by up to 25 percent. This action is a result of continued increases in raw material, energy and transportation costs. Butonal and Butofan are registered trademarks of BASF Aktiengesellschaft.
