CHARLOTTE, NC -- BASF will showcase several new latex products for clear filmic and graphic pressure sensitive adhesives in booth 1046 at Labelexpo Americas 2008 to be held Sept. 9-11, 2008, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center located in Chicago, Illinois.

BASF experts will be available throughout the show to discuss the company's most recent developments in pressure sensitive adhesives for permanent, filmic, all-temp, PVC face-stock for graphic applications, and removable labels.

In addition, BASF will showcase Styrolux® HS 70, a clear styrene-butadiene copolymer (SBC), developed specifically for shrink sleeve label applications. Styrolux HS 70 offers high ultimate shrinkage during processing, yet maintains very low shrinkage under typical storage conditions. It offers good toughness, high gloss, and excellent clarity. Because of its lower density, Styrolux HS 70 provides better yield than other high shrinkage materials currently available in the market.
